Skin will have hair, creases, wrinkles, bumps–this should be considered when deciding on your tattoo’s size. Fine text and thin lines might not translate well in this case and important words or detail might be lost.
GEOMETRIC SHAPES ARE PRONE TO DISTORTION. Circles, squares, and other geometric shapes will always look sharp on printed material, but on a person it becomes a bit more complicated. As the body is 3-dimensional, a tattoo design with sharp geometric shapes could get warped and twisted depending on the chosen area of the body, as well as the movement of the expanse of skin where the tattoo will be applied to.
Once you have your final design and are happy with it, consider printing information on the paper liner for contact details, any fine print, or any important text that might not work with the design.
